Denise is the head of our family law team. Having joined the firm in 1997 and became partner in 2001. She specialises in all aspects of family law including separation, cohabitation, surrogacy, overseas adoption and all aspects of child law. Denise has extensive experience in this field and is one of only a handful of lawyers in the West of Scotland to be fully qualified in the area of collaborative law which can assist separating parties avoid the need to resolve their dispute in court.

Denise has expertise in high value and complex divorce cases involving business interests and property located abroad. Denise is a member of the Family Law Association, Scottish Collaborative Group, International Academy of collaborative lawyers and is a counsellor for SOLCARE. Denise has, in 2011, acheived the accolade of being accreditated as a family law mediator by the Law Society of Scotland.

Denise also advises clients who require wills and/ or power of attorneys and also manages the firms executries.
