Head Of The Civil Litigation Department and Law Society of Scotland accredited specialist in Guardianships.
Mark is the head of the civil litigation department having joined Wright & Crawford as a partner in 2004.
He has been a practising solicitor since 1991, who specialises in both commercial and general litigation, which can range from complex contractual or business disputes, debt recovery cases, property litigation or damages claims. Mark has extensive advocacy experience in courts throughout Scotland and in employment tribunals.
He specialises in guardianship cases and is accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Incapacity and Mental Disability Law and, from time to time, is being appointed by several Sheriff Courts to act as an independent safeguarder or curator and to prepare reports.
He assists both individuals and companies in whatever form of dispute that requires to be resolved and produces written opinions on legal problems to clients and to other solicitors.
From time to time his responsibilities also include serving as a company secretary to corporate clients. Mark is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow and is also a former Senior Tutor and Lecturer in Advanced Civil Litigation on the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The University of Glasgow.
